I\'ve been wanting a pink DS Lite ever since the launch, and my boyfriend recently got me it for me. It\'s the best thing ever, I can have hours of fun on it and it just looks so cool and girly, I love it! New Super Mario Bros was fun to play, but now that I\'ve finished it, Im waiting on my R4 DS, which I heard is a must-have if you\'ve got a Nintendo DS. Since I\'ve had my DS, 3 of my friends have gone out to buy it as well, and I\'m getting my boyfriend one for himself.
The colour screens are really bright and the battery life is good, I have my screen resolution on the 3rd setting (there\'s 4 settings) and I can play up to about 4-5 hours in total on it, then the red battery light will come on. The wireless game modes are a lot of fun, and there\'s loads of stuff you can buy to customise your DS. I also got the accessory pack for it which came with a matching case, ear phones and in-car charger, so now I practically take my DS everywhere with me =]

The lowdown:
Nothing about this game is ordinary, from the price to the way you hold the DS while playing it (vertically, as if you were reading a book). The basic idea is that you play through a series of puzzles each day, for about 10 minutes, and at the end of each session the \"age\" of your brain is calculated. The puzzles themselves range from simple maths questions to spot the difference, memorisation and comprehension. All of the answers are inputted either by drawing the answer on the touchscreen or speaking it into the DS\'s in-built microphone. There\'s also a multiplayer mode for up to 15 people where you can try and compete to record the youngest brain age.
Most exciting moment:
A brand new addition to the game, not included in the Japanese version, is a special DS version of Sudoku. This works great on the DS\'s touch screen and is worth the already low price of admission on its own.
Since you ask:
A sister title to Brain Training, named Big Brain Academy, is due for release in July and offers to \"weigh\" your brain and improve specific skills such as memorisation and analysis. A direct sequel to Brain Training has also been released in Japan but is not yet scheduled for released in the UK.
The bottom line:
The only game that really is for the whole family - from kids to OAPs.

Customer Review: Its true - using your brain can be fun.
There should be an award dedicated to a game that is both addictive and makes you think. Brain Training has made me realise that since finishing compulsory education I have stopped using my brain in the ways that I am supposed to and have allowed it to become lazy. The mathematical puzzles really did show such; things that I probably could have done a few years ago have now really made me pause. The sign of hope is that this is a \"game\" that will teach you to start using your brain again, simply by performing simple mathematical and logic tasks for a few minutes every day. Since having bought the game I have noticed a significant difference in my concentration and mathematical proficiency, which is quite a stunning thing to admit. What is best about this game is that it doesn\'t make it seem like it is a job that you are doing but that you are actually playing a game, and in all honesty as somebody who hated maths in school I now cannot stop playing on the number puzzles.

The game cannot be faulted at all in providing exactly what is expected - a large number of Su Doku puzzles with an initial tutorial mode for those unfamiliar with the puzle , going all the way up to quite difficult . Game times are kept , and there is a star system based on how quickly the puzzles are completed . Completing the grid is by either writing the numbers in the boxes , or tapping on a panel beside the grid .There is space to actually \'pencil\' in suggestions for numbers in boxes - I have done this when doing the puzzle in newspapers for instance .
So . It\'s pretty low on frills , but you get what you want - heaps of puzzles !
Customer Review: A must for Sudoku fans
There are several aspects of this game which make it stand out from other sudoku games. There are two methods for completing the grids, by touching a number pad (this is extremely helpful as a number becomes greyed out when it has been entered in the grid 9 times), or by writing in with the stylus. So you can choose which method suits you best. There are 10 practice sessions where an incorrect entry comes up red which is very good for beginners. There are 400 puzzles ranging from practice, easy, normal and hard and a time record and scoring is kept so you can go back and repeat a puzzle to try and improve on your score. Hours of fun!! You can highlight numbers and lines in the grid to make it easier to see where you have completed. All in all, I totally love this version of sudoku and would recommend it 100% to both sudoku fans and newcomers to sudoku alike.

this \'case\' came yesterday and im not very pleased with it. the manufacturer describes this as \'high grade\' WHATS SO HIGH GRADE ABOUT THIS. Being honest dont buy this (atleast not for £10) so far I have being using this for around a week and its already starting to break (also it doesnt even fit onto the DS properly). I also have problems taking the stylus out and i really doubt that this \'case\' can protect from anything, if Ican turn back time i would rather buy another case
