Customer Review: This Mario is definately a Party game only…
Having played some great previous versions of MP on the N64, I was keen to get this and see how the controls were utilised. While the Minigame orintated games definately play better in a multiplayer group rather than aganst the machine, I’m not sure Nintendo notice this in their yearly updates of this title - they should increase the 1 player fun. On the Wii its definately worth a purchase, its got some real good stuff going on. I really enjoy this tho’ with a few people around, and thats how its best played. Another consistant party in the series! Go for it but make sure you got plenty of mates willing to play with you…
Customer Review: Good at first…
I borrowed this off a mate to play 4-player, as I figured “hey, it’s basically mini-games: perfectly suitable” I was right at first. We went on a board thing and played through, yeah this is pretty good fun, kinda whacky and all that…. then after about an hour with still about a third of it to go we had had enough. I don’t think any of us want to see Mario Party 8 again 
However if you like mini-games and have people to play with then go ahead and buy! It probably needs more of a chance than I am prepared to give it.
