Customer Review: Great product, great price!
Having recently changed the position of my wii I noticed it looked a bit barron, having no support, which is also a worry for ventilation. I noticed this item flicking through Amazon, and thought for ?10 quid why not? Glad I did, not only does it make the console look very smart, the compartment allows me to have a little more room by sticking away a controller and nunchuck. The slot for the sensor is a bit pointless to be honest, but apart from that, very happy with the item.
Customer Review: Verty stylish console stand - Wii like very much!
Just received my Wii horizontal console stand this afternoon and must say that i’m extremely impressed with the unit. The stand is particulary usefull to me as although the Wii does already come with its own console stand when purchased, this can only be used for placing the unit in its vertical position. While this is fine if you have a room with plenty of shelf space, it does tend to pose a slight problem if you fancy using it somewhere where you don’t have as much shelf space such as a video cabinet. Personally I’m not overly keen on just lying the console on its side due to ventilation problems ect. Also another problem I have had since purchasing my Wii is that with all the Wii Remotes and Nunchuck controllers you need for multiplayer games when friends come round is storage space. I’m not particulary keen on just leaving controllers lying around the place. The Wii vertical stand has been designed to solve these two problems in one package. The stand is designed with a base plate which you slot your Wii onto and a handy tidy box compartment at the side in which you can place a Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Not only does this small side compartment help to save a bit of room and mess on your tops, but also both the box and lid have been carefully designed and constructed so they match the size and contours of your Wii console which means that when you put it all together both the console and stand lay perfect flush together. For me though what really makes the stand look totally cool is the official Wii logo on the front of the tidy compartment box. The stand is officially licensed by Nintendo and is manufactured in the same quality white plastic finnish as the Wii. I cannot recommend this stand enough, so if your looking for something to solve both storage problems and an alternative to the vertical stand available this should be perfect

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii)
For over a decade now fans have been wondering just what a team-up between Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog would be like. Everything from traditional platform games to complex role-playing titles have been suggested, but it’s fair to say nobody imagined that it would finally happen in the form of an athletics simulator. It’s officially licensed from the 2008 Beijing Olympics though (Sega already had the license for their own more traditional tie-in) and contains all the usual events you’d expect including the 100m sprint, swimming, judo, table tennis, hammer throwing and archery. Sega have even been talking about using the new Wii Zapper controller for a spot of clay pigeon shooting.
More than twenty-five characters from both universes will be playable in the game, including not just Mario and Sonic but also Luigi, Tails, Yoshi, Knuckles, Bowser, Doctor Eggman, Princess Peach and Amy. Other characters will have cameos as judges such as Cream the Cat and Toad. You’d expect some characters to be naturally better at some sports than others but each has their own strengths and weakness, with even Sonic’s incredible speed mitigated by his slow acceleration. The whole game is developed by Sega but overseen by legendary Nintendo creator Shigeru Miyamoto, with full tournament and missions modes as well as online leaderboards for all the different events. The name may sound like an April Fool’s joke at first but this crossover could well be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Customer Review: Mario & Sonic at the Olympics Games - Super Fun
This game is super fun for all the family, easy to understand controls, using the Wii’s remote super motion sensor to its best. You get to choose any one of 16 Mario or Sonic characters to try and win different olympic events, from 100m sprints to single rowing. You can also get your Mii created for Wii Sports in the action as well, playing as him or her against sonic and friends or mario and friends. This is a superb game for any age, young or old, all the family will enjoy it, single or mulitplayer (better with more I say). Get it for xmas, if not before. Five Big Stars and two thumbs up for this one
Customer Review: Absoloutely Fantastic!!
This game is excellent for playing with your mates!! You can choose which character you want to be from all the popular sonic characters (Sonic, knuckles, tails etc) or all the popular mario characters (mario, yoshi, princess etc)then battle it out in lots of different olympic style events. These are split into different categories, track, swimming gymnastics etc. The better you do at events the more events you can unlock. You need you Wii remote and nunchuck to play although some events can be played with the remote alone. All in all I would recommend this game to anyone with a competitive streak and be prepared to play and play because it is quite addictive!!
