Cooking Mama (Nintendo DS)

Cooking Mama (Nintendo DS)
Cooking Mama challenges players to use the stylus as a master kitchen tool to cook 76 real world dishes ranging from pepperoni pizza to cabbage meat rolls. Players use the stylus to chop, slice, pan fry, knead, grate, mash, peel and more. Under Mama’s watchful eye, players must first prepare ingredients, then combine, cook and present the final meal all via the touch screen. Players can even cool down dishes by blowing into the DS microphone.
Customer Review: wow!
when i got this game i wasnt really expecting it to be much good, but i was wrong! this game is great and has all of the fun of the kitchen inside one little ds game card! i really enjoy making rice cakes ect on it and i think that every person who has a DS should definately get cooking mama!!!!
Customer Review: Good at first
I got this game along time ago and it was brilliant… at first.
Soon i had made all the recipes, there were no more to make!
So that game has been in the case along time and not looked at.
If youre looking for a game that one day ends thats your one.
However it is really fun making and cooking different foods at first.
In my opionion its ok.

Customer Review: Handy
As soon as I got my pink DS, I had to get the accessory pack to go with it. The case is very handy, as when I put it in my bag, I don’t have to worry about my DS getting scratched or dirty. It’s a bit bulky, and the colour didn’t really match the pink on the DS, but it’s not really a big problem. I love the earphones with the volume control on it, and the in car charger is very useful. I don’t use the game case much, as I only have one game at the moment, and the colour of the case makes it look cheap. But all in all, it was a good choice to buy the pack!
Customer Review: Excellent
Got this to go with the DS lite. It all is fine. Excellent little case to carry 3 games and keep a spare pen to. Its hard covered so protects the DS. Also has a carry strap. This is brilliant for keeping it in but also for taking it on holiday. Came with pink car charger and pink headphones - although the headphones did say they had a volume control - but they don’t.

Tamagotchi Connexion Corner 2 (Nintendo DS) As soon as the original became the best selling, non-Nintendo published game for the DS in Japan, it was only a matter of time before a sequel appeared. As with the last game this isn’t just a simulation of the original virtual pet keyrings, but instead has you setting up and running a series of shops with one of three Tamagotchi partners. There are twelve shops in total, with new premises being unlocked as you do well with the initial ones by performing in a series of mini-games.
Each game is completely different, depending on the shop - so you might be preparing sushi in the sushi bar or helping out and playing in the bowling alley. Although most of the shops are brand new some of the ones from the first game do make a remixed appearance, such as concert hall where you can now actually sing along with the tunes using the DS’s inbuilt microphone. Success in each of the games furnishes you with “Gotchi points”, which can then be used to buy things for your Tamagotchi partner, from furniture to clothes and even food. These will help endear your Tamagotchi to you, who has five levels of mood depending on how well you have been doing minding the shop and whatever you’ve bought for them lately. If you upset them they’ll end up bad mouthing you in front of customers.
Since its pretty much the same game with different shops in it, those that liked the original Corner Shop will naturally appreciate this. There’s very little depth to any of the mini-games though, so while some DS games like Nintendogs and Animal Crossing have been able to cross the gender and generation gap, this is probably only going to be entertaining for very young kids.

Customer Review: Gets easly boring
My best mate lent me this game. I found it fun at first but after about 10 minutes I began to get tierd of it. What you do is, you have this shops and you have to make clothes and bake cakes while hoping that the princess will come and maake your shop bigger. But the thing is their are only a limted choice of things your costimers can choose from so you end up making the same things other and other again.
All in all this game might be fun for children 6 to 8 years. It’s not a bad game only very simple and childish!
Customer Review: A fun and very cute game!
Although this game can get very annoying after a while, overall it’s very fun and allows you to be creative using the stylus as an icing pen to decorate cakes and loads more.
The characters are adorable and they make very sweet sounds when talking, but their demand for things is irritating (they always want their cakes and clothes to be EXACTLY the same as the order). We’re only human, give us a break!
This game is enjoyable, although eventually the novelty wears off a bit. But overall, it’s a lot of fun!
