Cooking Mama (Nintendo DS)

Cooking Mama (Nintendo DS)
Cooking Mama challenges players to use the stylus as a master kitchen tool to cook 76 real world dishes ranging from pepperoni pizza to cabbage meat rolls. Players use the stylus to chop, slice, pan fry, knead, grate, mash, peel and more. Under Mama’s watchful eye, players must first prepare ingredients, then combine, cook and present the final meal all via the touch screen. Players can even cool down dishes by blowing into the DS microphone.
Customer Review: wow!
when i got this game i wasnt really expecting it to be much good, but i was wrong! this game is great and has all of the fun of the kitchen inside one little ds game card! i really enjoy making rice cakes ect on it and i think that every person who has a DS should definately get cooking mama!!!!
Customer Review: Good at first
I got this game along time ago and it was brilliant… at first.
Soon i had made all the recipes, there were no more to make!
So that game has been in the case along time and not looked at.
If youre looking for a game that one day ends thats your one.
However it is really fun making and cooking different foods at first.
In my opionion its ok.

Flipper Critters (Nintendo DS) Customer Review: Flippin’ useless.
Flipper Critters is a novel twist on the pinball theme. Unfortunately it’s a mess when it could have been good.
There’s colourful 3D graphics spread over both screens, novel rotating tables with three sets of flippers in the middle, and the ball physics is pretty good. Sadly, the rest of the game is half-baked.
The main problem with the game is that most of the time you don’t know what to do. The in-game instructions are vague and you lose most of your balls before you randomly stumble upon the next task. The bright graphics work against the gameplay - it’s difficult to tell the difference between scenery and targets. A lot of time is wasted pointlessly flipping the ball about scoring nothing.
Critters doesn’t have any really major faults, but there are so many irritating niggles - far too many to list them all - that playing the game is more of an ordeal than a pleasure.
Metroid Prime Pinball is a much better game. Buy that instead.

Customer Review: really , really poor
I really don’t know what all the fuss is about. The character controls are very poor- you are unable to look up or down (this is often a pain as you cannot see who is trying to shoot you). My copy of the game seemed full of bugs. For example, the game froze regularly and required a restart. The puzzles are very limited and repetitive. Sometimes the character failed to repond to controls. Finally, the music is a 30 second loop of the film score. This gets really annoying! Another lazy, cynical attempt to extract more cash from star wars fans. One of the worst games that I have ever played.
Customer Review: Dark Forces with Boobs
I’m a child of the late eighties, so I witnessed the birth of the snes, megadrive, and sony playstation. One of my favourite games on the playstation was Dark Forces. Cheesy as hell. But so fun to play. This game reminds me a lot of Dark Forces. Infact I wouldn’t be surprised it was made on the same engine. You collaborate with a little robot called Zeeo, he solves puzzles so you can unlock doors and maps etc using the stylus. And you also do this thing that I find hilarious where you ride on the back of the robot to slide around tracks on walls, without turning when you decide to go in a different direction. Hehe. The gameplay is a lot of fun. If you enjoyed Dark Forces try to imagine a more puzzle filled game, and that’s what you got here. Kyle Katarn even features in this game, so I think there is a link with the producers here. I hope they bring Dark Forces out on the DS that game rocked. But yeah overall good fun
UK Mains Charger For Nintendo DS Lite
Customer Review: BIG CON
This is a standard min USB charger. It does not fit the DS Lite. Clearly the 1p price and high postage is to protect them from giving refunds. DO NOT BUY THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Customer Review: Do Not Buy for a New Nintendo DS
This is the old power adaptor and does not work on the New DS - and the supplier did not respond to my request to change - I would not use this dealer again

Customer Review: March to your own beat
I was so hooked on this game, I even started taking it to work with me to play in my lunch hour. It’s brilliantly addictive, and a long time since I remember a Lemmings style puzzler of this quality. It reminds me of Krusty’s Super Funhouse for the SNES, but without the horrible annoying music. Each level is based on a different Mario or Donkey Kong game stage - a genius idea, they even use Mario and DK music from past games. The ‘build your own level’ is fantastic, but takes a few goes to get right. The game’s only let down is that it’s maybe a bit too easy to complete, I finished it in about a week of playing during lunch hours. That said, it’s still a lot of fun and it’s great to see Mario and Donkey Kong in this kind of game.
Customer Review: Very fun game, a bit too short though.
Despite the fact that I only ever finished 2 levels with a gold star (silver for the rest) this was quite an easy game. I took it on holiday with the intention of it being decent fodder for downtime but I finished it all in 6 days. Asides from that it’s very cute and colorful (as with most Mario games) and has some great gameplay and tunes. It’s a lot like the Lemmings games crossed with a little bit of snakes and ladders. The puzzles are clever and fun to solve and it’s never boring. I did find the lack of response (only sometimes) from the stylus pen to be a bit annoying, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Perfect for kids, a decent distraction for adults. Graphics A Sound A Gameplay A Lasting Appeal B-

Customer Review: Brilliant Game
Theme Park is a brilliant and very addictive game. Once you are on it, you are on it for hours. I enjoyed the use of touch screen. The game goes quite fast so you need to be quick! The more money you get, the more rides you can buy, eg roller coaster. The bad things are when it asks you to do things that you can’t do or have already got, eg rescuing someone who is stuck when there is no-one. Another bad thing is when things break down, it leaves rocks over the park which get in the way. But overall it is a brilliant game and I am glad I got it.
Customer Review: Reeeeally addictive!!!
I can’t stop playing this game! It’s so addictive! It can be a real pain sometimes but I really enjoy it! I would highly recommend it!!!
