Customer Review: I can’t believe this is still being sold! It’s a nightmare!
I googled for this game and found what I thought was the same game in two different covers. I thought one must be the UK packaging and the other USA. So, I bought the one that was available over here after reading reviews of the other. I got it and started playing it. I wondered where all the good stuff was that I’d read about and it was nowhere to be seen. This game says it’s got three skill levels. No, it hasn’t. You can complete a small puzzle, a medium one or a big one. The clues are all similar and there’s no difference in how hard the questions are. So many of the clues are things like…number plates of different countries, nobel prize winners (spelt ‘price’ in the game), winners of medals in the Olympics and places, rivers and distant tribes that I wouldn’t have a clue about. There are loads of other rubbishy questions too. I’m amazed that this game is still being sold. I haven’t had any fun with it at all and can’t even link to another DS without them having the same game…and NO WAY am I going to buy another one of these in order to do that. I’d rather play Ping Pals…and that’s saying something! Don’t buy this or you will be very sorry, but, if you see the other game which has the same name but a different cover design…BUY THAT ONE INSTEAD! That one has anagram games and word searches in it. This one only has small, medium or large crosswords that will do your head in. I think I’ve made my point.

Customer Review: Complete waste of time and money
As a crossword addict I looked forward to receiving this game - what a disappointment. Clues are repeated crossword after crossword and mainly consist of the international letters for countries, nobel prizewinners since the year dot, the initials of the news agency of every country and olympic games medal winners. Does not even warrant one star.

Customer Review: Nice travel companion…
I purchased this product about 6 months back and wanted to write the review only after the initial euphoria wore off. I already have a Wii so I was a bit familiar with what I was going for with another Nintendo product. Intially, I was torn between the PSP and the DS. But the game “Professor Layton and the Curious Village” plus my limited budget cleared this up for me. I bought the game along with the DS. And I have been happy with my decision. The DS’s touch screen is quite responsive and does not suffer from the usual touch screen glitches. The wi-fi setup and operation is actually much simpler than I thought it would be. I travel a lot and this has become a nice traveling companion while I wait for flights in transit. The battery life is also reasonable and goes for upto 8-9 hours after a single charge. Sometimes, I feel it is a much better value-for-money than my other travel accessory the 4-gig iPod nano.

Customer Review: A great bargain!
Zelda Link to the Past alone is worth the price. This game has it all. If you are a Zelda fan then you will find this game to be a great one. I really enjoy playing this game. It has the usual puzzles, combat and adventure. I also enjoy Pitfall the Lost Expedition despite the less than perfect reviews it got. I don’t understand why it got such less than perfect reviews. The graphics are great and gameplay is good. I have a ball playing both of these games. Of course you can’t compare the two because they are games from different genres. Zelda is an adventure game and Pitfall is a pure platformer. When I found that these two games were bundled as a special promotion I had to give them a try and was not disappointed. I’m a gamer and I own many consoles and top-notch games and these two get my approval.

The software does what its suppose to do. I just don’t like pluggin it in the ds, then taking it out to put the game in, then putting the Action replay back in again, just to take it back out. But, like i said it does the job. I found that cheating makes the game boring though because there is no challenge.

Customer Review: Okay for wimps
The book seems to assume you are already familiar with the game and is only fair with regard to unit details and how to use units. The majority of the book tells you in detail how to win each scenario in the campaigns. I decided it would take all the fun out of the game for me and so it seems like kind of a waste of money unless you are the kind of person who can’t play a game without cheat codes.
Customer Review: Very useful to have
The guide is like my best friend. It provides a detailed map on what the level is about and sometimes when the levels have Fog of War, they show it all without Fog of War, perfect for preparing strategies. It provided me what I needed to beat a very tough mission and now I’m ready to go through the rest of the game thanks to this. I recommend it to anyone who has yet own Days of Ruin or has a hard time with the game. 5 stars.

I think Wii has brought in a new wave for gaming - making you get off your rear and actually putting an effort into the video game! Very different from the usual “sit-in-front-of-the-TV-and-hit-some-buttons” kind of games. No doubt the graphics are not as exceptional but they are good enough for me. (I own a PSP too) This is great fun for the whole family and all ages… I like it a lot and play a whole lot with my wife, who normally isnt into gaming. Wii Fit is an amazing addition (if you can get your hands on it!!)

My son got this game today and within 1 hour was disappointed b/c he was not challenged. As opposed to Mario Supersluggers which he finds challenging, he thought this was only so-so, and so the review is not high. He does add that it may be more fun with multiple people, however, we’ve not had time to play with him….

Customer Review: A very fun baseball game, just not that deep.
I am having a great time playing this game. To the people complaining about the controls, use a nunchuk. It gives you more control. I really wouldn’t want to stand up and swing for 9 innings. I like the motion controls they way they are. They work well. The fielding is great. The base running is intuitive. Most importantly the baseball itself is really fun and well done. The characters are great, the items are cool and the start powers are fun. I like the close-play cut screens. The story mode is thrown in for fun. It lets you get to know and unlock all of the characters/players. The real fun is exhibition. No season mode … no online play. Could have benefited from both in my opinion. That is the only reason for this game not to have 5 stars imo.

I have to agree with the person who gave this game 1 star. It is VERY disappointing! My son and I LOVED Mario Baseball for the Gamecube. We were hoping for something increadible being on the Wii. Alas, as the other reviewer said, the Wii controls are merely an afterthought. This wouldn’t be so disappointing if it wasn’t a Nintendo exclusive. In other words, you would expect a game designed for this system to utilize the controls of the Wii that set this system so much apart from the others. As another reviewer said, you have very little detail in the movements of pitching or batting. It’s truly sad that the Gamecube version (Mario Baseball) actually allowed you to have more control. It’s just crazy that using the Wii-mote doesn’t give you any increased versatility or variations in you batting or pitching. I give it a second star only because it has so many of our favorite Nintendo characters that we’ve enjoyed and followed for so many years. It is inconceivable for this game to get more than 3 stars. Nintendo dropped the ball and committed a major error on this one!

this product is misleading, on the package it says “loaded with powersaves” “acess hundreds of playable cheats” which makes it seem like there would be a lot of different codes but there is barely one code for each game. “and you can easily update it with new powersaves” I went on their website and found one or two codes repeating over and over, it wouldn’t be bad if there were enough codes but resident evil 4 for instance only had one code on it, one! and it was the SAME one i already had. Action replay is really screwing up and complicating what should be a fun and enjoyable experince, they should emulate the gameshark pro on the n64, you find the codes on the internet and type them in and save them, simple and easy. unless they really change the way their doing things in a positive way i won’t buy another product from them. I gave them two chances: 1.the action replay for gamecube(wasen’t too bad except for that its glitch prone and you’re stuck with the codes you’ve got) 2. this piece of monkey crap i am reviewing right now. :& if anybody knows of any alternate cheat system for the wii or gamecube please let me know in one of your reviews. much appreciated, peace : )

When it comes to those who are anxiously awaiting the action replay for the Nintendo Wii, they’d have to wait a little longer for the code enhancer. Thankfully, the people at Datel won’t make Wii owners awaiting for help on some of their favorite games to get ahead. The Wii Powersaves card can be used with the codejunkies website where you can download special saves that you could unlock all the weapons for The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, or you could unlock all the trophies in Mario Strikers Charged and unlock all the characters. There is one problem though. You can’t use this to play against others online through the Wi-Fi connection. Although it is convient, I really consider Wii owners wait for the Action Replay to come out early next year. Storage: C+ Convience: C+ Overall: C 1/2+

I have been fortunate enough to be one of the early adopters of this innovative gadget that has allowed me to take my digital experience to a new level. After I decided to build a media center PC and connect it to my big screen TV, I was in the market looking for a wireless mouse that will not only replace my mouse but will also work in a way to make my on-screen browsing experience much simpler and intuitive. When I came across this WavIt, I realized unlike a wireless mouse it gave me a 3-D navigation where I can zoom in and out of web pages, and navigate back and forth with just a twist. I could increase the volume with a twist and scroll up and down with a flip. A flip and twist did almost everything I wanted to navigate my media center PC. The installation was a breeze but it did take me a while to get used to this free floating navigation tool before I could get a steady pointer. The smartpoint feature in WavIt was just the one I needed. After I got used to it, I calibrated the WavIt to suit my navigation style and once everything was set, there was no turning back. I love the feature where it detects that your cursor is moving out of the viewing area and gives a small vibration to let you know. I could also replace my TV remote with this WavIt but I am yet to get to that piece of the feature set. The fact that I could individually program every button on WavIt to a specific function makes this highly configurable. I have programmed one button to close any application, one to zoom in and out, and one to scroll up and down. Its so cool… I would highly recommend this to anyone trying to control a media PC in the living room with a mouse. WavIt will give you whole new experience of controlling your media center PC.
Customer Review: WaveIT - the future remote!
I first saw information about this item in the local San Jose newspaper back in January 2007 and already at that time,I thought it sounded like a cool device - A kind of improved Wii for the livingroom. I purchased the device 3 weeks go and I must say, I have not been disappointed. The delivery and installation went very smooth (only drawback is that it takes some time to load the device once the pc is restarted) and within a few minutes I was up and running. The best features is the control of the internet (and there are great links to movie sites on ThinkOptics web), mediacenter and also the gaming controls. It is just great fun sitting in the sofa and playing WOW on a 42″ screen
