Customer Review: I can’t believe this is still being sold! It’s a nightmare!
I googled for this game and found what I thought was the same game in two different covers. I thought one must be the UK packaging and the other USA. So, I bought the one that was available over here after reading reviews of the other. I got it and started playing it. I wondered where all the good stuff was that I’d read about and it was nowhere to be seen. This game says it’s got three skill levels. No, it hasn’t. You can complete a small puzzle, a medium one or a big one. The clues are all similar and there’s no difference in how hard the questions are. So many of the clues are things like…number plates of different countries, nobel prize winners (spelt ‘price’ in the game), winners of medals in the Olympics and places, rivers and distant tribes that I wouldn’t have a clue about. There are loads of other rubbishy questions too. I’m amazed that this game is still being sold. I haven’t had any fun with it at all and can’t even link to another DS without them having the same game…and NO WAY am I going to buy another one of these in order to do that. I’d rather play Ping Pals…and that’s saying something! Don’t buy this or you will be very sorry, but, if you see the other game which has the same name but a different cover design…BUY THAT ONE INSTEAD! That one has anagram games and word searches in it. This one only has small, medium or large crosswords that will do your head in. I think I’ve made my point.

Customer Review: Complete waste of time and money
As a crossword addict I looked forward to receiving this game - what a disappointment. Clues are repeated crossword after crossword and mainly consist of the international letters for countries, nobel prizewinners since the year dot, the initials of the news agency of every country and olympic games medal winners. Does not even warrant one star.

Customer Review: Nice travel companion…
I purchased this product about 6 months back and wanted to write the review only after the initial euphoria wore off. I already have a Wii so I was a bit familiar with what I was going for with another Nintendo product. Intially, I was torn between the PSP and the DS. But the game “Professor Layton and the Curious Village” plus my limited budget cleared this up for me. I bought the game along with the DS. And I have been happy with my decision. The DS’s touch screen is quite responsive and does not suffer from the usual touch screen glitches. The wi-fi setup and operation is actually much simpler than I thought it would be. I travel a lot and this has become a nice traveling companion while I wait for flights in transit. The battery life is also reasonable and goes for upto 8-9 hours after a single charge. Sometimes, I feel it is a much better value-for-money than my other travel accessory the 4-gig iPod nano.

Customer Review: A great bargain!
Zelda Link to the Past alone is worth the price. This game has it all. If you are a Zelda fan then you will find this game to be a great one. I really enjoy playing this game. It has the usual puzzles, combat and adventure. I also enjoy Pitfall the Lost Expedition despite the less than perfect reviews it got. I don’t understand why it got such less than perfect reviews. The graphics are great and gameplay is good. I have a ball playing both of these games. Of course you can’t compare the two because they are games from different genres. Zelda is an adventure game and Pitfall is a pure platformer. When I found that these two games were bundled as a special promotion I had to give them a try and was not disappointed. I’m a gamer and I own many consoles and top-notch games and these two get my approval.

Customer Review: Gets the job done
The software does what its suppose to do. I just don’t like pluggin it in the ds, then taking it out to put the game in, then putting the Action replay back in again, just to take it back out. But, like i said it does the job. I found that cheating makes the game boring though because there is no challenge.

Customer Review: Okay for wimps
The book seems to assume you are already familiar with the game and is only fair with regard to unit details and how to use units. The majority of the book tells you in detail how to win each scenario in the campaigns. I decided it would take all the fun out of the game for me and so it seems like kind of a waste of money unless you are the kind of person who can’t play a game without cheat codes.

The guide is like my best friend. It provides a detailed map on what the level is about and sometimes when the levels have Fog of War, they show it all without Fog of War, perfect for preparing strategies. It provided me what I needed to beat a very tough mission and now I’m ready to go through the rest of the game thanks to this. I recommend it to anyone who has yet own Days of Ruin or has a hard time with the game. 5 stars.

Customer Review: I would not buy again !!!
The screen protector does not fit the Nintendo DS lite touch-screen properly, basically it does not cover the entire screen. The product is of poor quality (I guess you get your money’s worth). I had trouble putting it on without getting air bubbles between the screen protector and the touch screen. Someone mentioned that it was too thick and did not detect the stylus, I cannot comment on that, because since I LOST the battle with the Air-Bubbles, I took the screen protector off completely without trying it out.
Customer Review: DOESN’T WORK for the bottom screen
It’s cheap but doesn’t work for the bottom screen. It comes in two sizes, one that would fit the top screen and one that would fit the bottom screen but the screen protector for the bottom screen is too thick for stylus detection. I put it on and couldn’t play with my DS but luckily it uses static to stick on the screen instead of glue so I was able to use duct tape to peel it off.

I bought this for my son who absolutely loves it. Helpful walk through is very informative and the section dealing with the Pokemon themselves is quite fun. If you’re stuck in Diamond or Pearl this guide will be a big help. Most, but not all of your questions will be answered in this guide.

The DS Lite Pink is a fab console, I sold my black DS Lite for the fraction of the price just so I could buy a pink one! The DS Lite is alot slimmer, sexier & lighter! Trust me, it’s one of the best things that you could ever buy. I sold my black DS Lite juts before christmas & then wanted a pink one, I was shocked when I came home from kick boxing yesterday & found one off the table from my mum & dad!!!! My friends will be sooo jelous because their mums & dads couldn’t find any!! I’m 12 by the way, but my mum loves the DS Lite too!!! All round, it’s a 5 star thing!!!!

Customer Review: Love it but the motion sickness may win!
I bought this game today as maths is a weak point and I’ve really enjoyed the Brain Training games. This game is everything I expected it to be but after 10 minutes I’m suffering with bad motion sickness! The background is orange with little boxes that move horizontally from left to right on both screens and all the exercises have this behind so there is no escape!! There are options to turn the annoying music and sound effects off but all you have to do to stop that is turn the volume down! You’d of thought they would have an option to stop the annoying background moving! It’s a shame because I may have to get rid of this game before my subconscious associates sickness with maths!!! Conclusion: If you want basic maths training and don’t suffer with motion sickness get it!

This game is a fab way to waste a few hours. It soon got compulsive and I found that I didn’t want to put it down. I only quit when the batteries were flat! Highly recommended for those who, like me, are total math freaks.

Customer Review: Bad design - Case cannot contain DS Lite AND earphones
The case is just not deep enough, so you can either fit a DS Lite in it, or the included earphones - but not both! And the case is too rigid to allow you to even squeeze them in. Will send it back, not sure if I’ll get my money back though as had to destroy the packaging to open it up and discover this design fault. Very disappointed, and don’t understand how the other reviewers could say this is good. Will be going ‘bricks and mortar’ shopping this weekend to look for a case that can take DS Lite, games, AND earphones.

Customer Review: DON’T USE THE SCREEN PROTECTORS!!
Right, this is a great peice of kit. I can fit two of the four DS cases and the GBA/DS case, the cloth and 4 stylii. along with a DS game in the console, that makes 5 DS games and 2 GBA games. As for the screen protectors, i tried applying them to my old DS when i still had it and failed miserably. Unfortunately removing them leaves a horrid layer of grime on the screen SO DONT USE THEM. The headphones are bad and would be better if they were bud headphones. The charge pack is a wonderful idea but could do with being slightly smaller. all in all it’s a good piece of gear with a hard wearing case, spare stylii and game cases, i’d say it’s a fair price for what you get.

Customer Review: I love my DS Lite - Really I do!
I have never been a video game player, even though my younger brother had every video game console from the Sega Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Atari Lynxx, GameBoy, Play Station and many others etc etc etc… plus every game you can imagine. I tried Sonic the Hedgehog and after about three minutes of pure frustration with some stupid control pad with too many coloured buttons on, I left never to return. So when he showed me his latest purchase of a DS Lite I edged away cautiously, until I saw the Brain Training in play, within minutes I had gone online and bought my own and have never looked back since. I have now become a total addict, that was last November. It’s just such great fun and it travels everywhere with me with my ever growing collection of games. It’s the best fun and the really great bit is the battery lasts for ages, so it’s just perfect when you are stuck in an airport and have a few hours to while away. Buy one, you won’t regret it for a minute.

I got this game for Christmas, and although lots of girls my age (9) are going to want just cute animal games, I loved this one! The instructions are clear, and Dr. Lobe, (the one that helps you through it) gives straight forward instructions for the games. After a few months of owning it, I started playing a bit of this before I went to school each day, and I think it is working! There are several games which are sorted into five catagories;compute, think, identify, analyze and memorize. You can practice first, then do a test. Overall, this game is great. It’s fun and easy to use, and really does work. Definetly buy this game!

After buying an R4 for my DSlite a few weeks ago I found that the battery just couldn’t keep up with my gaming needs, saw this 1600mah battery on amazon for ?2.40 and thought “what the hell, even if it’s crap I’ve only spent a couple of quid on it” turns out it’s quite decent the 1st charge only lasted about 2 hours and I was worried but now, after a few charges battery life is averaging at around 7 hours (high brightness) where it would have been about 4-5 before… so it’s worth it in my oppinion
