42 All-Time Classics (Nintendo DS)
In a nutshell:
Possibly the least obscure game title ever, this does exactly what it says on the tin with forty-two classics from chess and backgammon, to darts, poker, bridge and solitaire.
The lowdown:
The surprising thing about this game is that nobody’s thought to do it before. The games are split into three varieties of card game and two of board games, plus a selection of “action” games including bowling, darts and billiards. Playing the card games is just as easy as you’d expect with two screens and a stylus, whether it’s Old Maid and Pig or Texas Hold `Em and Bridge. The board games work just as well, with Chinese Checkers, Checkers (i.e. Draughts), Dots and Boxes and more. You’ll also find games like Turncoat (i.e. Othello), “Connect Five”, Ludo, Mahjong and Solitaire. You have got to go to some effort not to find something of interest amongst this selection.
Most exciting moment:
The best thing about having so many games is that, except for the ones that are purposefully single player, they can all be played online. If you’re playing against a friend you can even chat using a PictoChat style interface.
Since you ask:
The Japanese and Western versions of the game have several different exclusive games. Japan never got Texas Hold ‘Em, Dots and Boxes, Grid Attack, Ludo, Dominoes, Escape or Mahjong Solitaire but instead have Napoleon, Goninkan, Bozumekuri, Sugoroku, Size Game, Last One and Mini Golf in their version.

This is the perfect game!! I spend hours playing all the games, I love backgammon, (which I never had played before!!) president, spit, bowling, darts, solitare… the list just goes on and on!! Very good value would recommend!!
Customer Review: Really easy to use
This game is great for the DS because it is so easy to pick up and play for a few minutes without getting frustrated or bored, even if you play for longer periods. The games are all fairly simple but there really is 42 of them, and they really are all proper games (admittedly a few felt a little samey, but msot of the time on these games you find only a few decent ones.) The controls are so easy to use and totally designed for the DS, and unlike a lot of games where I feel that it could have been made much simpler and less difficult to use. This is a great game at a great price and I would recommend you buy it!

Customer Review: Good fun but gets tedious after a while
Having done Brain Training I thought I’d give this a go. The exercises are good fun and I like that fact that it focuses on memory, thinking, calucating etc….. so testing different skills. I’ve enjoyed playing the games, but now I’ve got all my gold medals I feel a bit let down as there are no new challenges, unlike Brain Training, and I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. And as some other reviewers have said it gets tedious as you keep getting the same old tests. I would recommend it, but it would be nice if there were some extras. I need to try playing in link mode perhaps that will rekindle my enthusiasm.

Should be stated in the description that it is a USA version. One of the games features American coins, which was a bit of a disappointment. Graphics not great either, but overall OK?!

hiya this game is really fun. I especially love doing contests! the only annoying thing is when you get a new dog he dosn’t have much stamna so they can only go for short walks and you can’t practise for agility trials (these are super fun!) hope i helped! o yea this game has really good breeds too!

My daughter was very pleased with this case, it comes in a soft nylon material with lots of handy pockets / sections. Has waist and shoulder straps giving you the option on how you wish to carry the item. With Nintendo’s being expensive its makes sence to protect your item.
