Customer Review: don’t bother buying them
In the first flush of excitement following our puchase of the Wii and absolutely loving the tennis game that is pre-loaded, I decided to order the rackets that can be attached to the wand. They look the part, but are quite unwieldy and you cannot get such accurate strokes as those obtained with the wand itself. Save your money and stick with the basic wand. My two rackets now join the rank of other unwanted items in the Cupboard of Open Carefully or Everything Falls Out.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)
In a nutshell:
The Metroid Prime trilogy comes to an end on the Wii, using not just the console’s improved graphical abilities but also the full range of the controller’s features. Half first person shooter, half Zelda style Sci-Fi adventure this is destined to be one of the best games of the next generation.
The lowdown:
The Wii remote and nunchuck have what seems like an infinite range of functions but of all the games shown so far this is the only one that seems to use every single one. Although there is still a lock-on option for attacking enemies you can now play the game more like a first person shoot ???em-up as you target enemies instantly, just by pointing with the Wii remote. All of the buttons, including the D-pad, are used to access Samus’s various abilities, which are added to with new uses for the grappling hook. This now works like a whip, allowing you to nab enemy shields by simply flicking the nunchuck (which also has a motion sensor in it) forward.
Most exciting moment:
The best bit of the lengthy E3 demo is an amazing boss fight with regular series villain Ridley, as you both fall through a giant energy shaft. Not only do you have to dodge his attacks but you have to beat him before you both end up splatted at the bottom of the shaft.
Since you ask:
The game’s graphics are noticeably improved from the GameCube titles, with much more detailed enemies and much larger game areas. There’s also a lot more enemies onscreen at once, as well as apparently friendly fellow bounty hunters.
The bottom line:
The legendary series evolves again, with the best use of the Wii’s controller yet.

Customer Review: LOVE IT!
I cannot stress the joy of having had Zelda Twilight Princess as my first wii game. It took me almost 50 hours of intense gameplay to “finish” the story, where your surroundings continuosly grow to a huge world of very different environments with unsimilar dangers and foes. But that does not mean the game ends there. There are many taks and challenges outside the storyline that you must accomplish to REALLY finish the game, like capturing the ghost-orbs, catching the bugs, and winning certain “competitions” to obtain better items! I personally do not know anyone who does not like (let alone LOVE) the Zelda saga. This has been a refreshing update of Link & Zelda, and I am ever so pleased I got the wii - the gameplay is second to none thanks to the wii remote & nunchuck technology!!!
Customer Review: EXCELLENT A++++
this game is absoultly amazing. this is a must have for the wii. its very interactive and fun to play. well worth the money!
Resident Evil 4 (Wii) Customer Review: great
There are already a lot of positive comments. I just want to add one more. I am not good at action games because my hands are slow. Therefore I have problems playing Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy. But I really couldn’t believe in myself when I beated this game (albeit in easy mode). I think the design is good so that you can use many tactics instead of brute force. A great game.
Customer Review: Resident Evil - Addicted
Well what can I say, this game is fantastic. Huge maps, problems to solve, lots of weapons to purchase and upgrade, scary music, great backgrounds, excellent controls and shooting… Best Game I’ve ever played I think. Sometimes when the music changes, and the monsters start shouting, your heart starts to race and you run for it (on screen) to find somewhere to hide, whilst you reload, and see if you can spot them.
The ONLY limiting factor to this game in my opinion is that it’s rather too easy to run out of ammunition, but that’s because you are panicking so much, you open fire at anything that moves (this can include chickens!). And that’s the thing with this game, there is simply so much to do, and you can even use new costumes (having a young girl in a suit of armour is terrific, and when Leon catches her, he winces and puts his hands on his hips, a cracking little touch of humour).
Having now completed it quite a few times in Pro Mode, I’ve got all the weapons you can have, yet I play it again, with the basic weapons, for the sport. A lovely head shot at 200 yards is fantastic fun, or seeing how much of the game you can play just using a rocket launcher etc…Or even just using the pistol and shotgun (though you have to use the darts now and again, it’s good fun watching the zombie keep walking, then explode!!). But that’s the thing, there is just so much you can do even in the main game, I’ve even played it to get my kills to over 1000.
Also, the fact that you have Assignment Ada and the other extras just makes it that bit better than any other game I’ve played, and keeps me going back for more and more.
It’s well worth the money !! (And I won’t often say that)
