Really good kit for the price. The only things I haven’t used are the thumb stylus (but that’s purely because I prefer the stylus that comes with the DS), and the screen protectors (after reading reviews for many different ones, the protectors with the best reviews are the Official ones, which I’ve found to be really good). If you want to look after your DS, this pack has virtually everything you need and is definitely the one to go for!

I have tried so many horse games for nintendo ds and this is most definately the best one! This game actually uses the ds touch screen, unlike most other games. Unlike Pippa Funnell, there aren’t bits where you can get really stuck and feel like giving up. You have to complete diplomas in order to do more competitions so you are always doing something. Some of the words used were a bit strange, like they called showjumping, steeplechase? These graphics were way above the Pippa Funnell graphics, the horses espicially were amazing, although the people weren’t great. I would really recommend this game, for girls in their lower teens , and i think its good for people who horse ride and those who don’t ride aswell.

I am 14 years old and i loved this game! The graphics are good and it is easy to play! I completed the game in less thn a week but i still love 2 just sit and do the courses again! I recommend this game to anyone of any ages!! It is proberly the best next thing to a real horse! A must have for all horse lovers with a DS !!

Customer Review: Not as good as Sims 2 castaway
I bought this having loved Sims 2 castaway, but this one isn’t as user-friendly & quite bizarre with lots of 3D stuff that doesn’t quite work & mini-games that are quite frustrating. The more I’ve played it the more I’ve liked it but it is quite high maintenance & you have to spend a lot of time cheering people up so they don’t mess up your hotel & the like! An OK game but not the best!
Customer Review: Great Fun, But Over Too Quick
I found this game really fun at first! The graphics are I’d say 8/10, for a DS they’re pretty good. The sound features are 5/10, there are good FX sound effects, but not anything amazing and I find the Sim language annoying (but that’s the same on all Sims games). I’d say that the touch screen use is 6/10 because you don’t move using the touch screen but there is quite a bit of touch screen interacting. The fun is 9/10, it really is great fun!! Overall I rate it 6/10 The problem with it is that it is over sooooo quickly, there are very few levels and although each level is great, once it’s completed there is no point playing it for any longer. Therefore, I ended up selling mine about a month and a half after I got it, I did put off selling it for a bit though… I would only pay about ?15 for it, maybe ?20 at a push. Only get it if your slow at these kind of games and don’t mind paying quite a bit for games! Only really for Sims 2 fans (I’m a huge fan).

Nintendo has a captive audience for this product, parents buy the accessory pack thinking it will complete the DS ‘experience’ however it only prove to be a poor quality bundle of plastic.Worst of all the car charger was for a Gameboy Advance not a DS which caused lots of problems. I purchased three of these for various birthdays, never again. Much better to pay a little more for the items you really require

This is a must buy. Simply, that is it… if you own a nintendo DS lite, then this is for you. The case is great and it comes with loads of extras. Car charger, mains charger protable charger, screen protector, spare styluses. Buying these things seperatly would cost a lot more than this product does! For this price i was expecting cheap, nasty and for it not to last long. How wrong i was! its all good quality and works brilliantly. if you take your DS out of your house, you need this! Amazing

Seeing all the other review I decided why not and I’ll take the risk with the battery compartment. Overall its very well made and its easy on the eyes. However I had no problems with the battery compartment which hopefully means that they have now sorted the problem and I had no trouble removing and putting them in. This time the battery packs are attached to the cover for the remote and from the reviews I think this was seperate before.

However now my problem is that they do not fit that snuggly and you have to some how push these in place basically the hand wrist strap gets in the way but this is minor. I’d recommend this product dues to how it works and for its cheap price

I may be the only one out there, but plugging in the Remote Charging Station to the back of my Wii had the unfortunate side effect of disabling the Wii’s access to my network!

Other than this minor (!!) inconvenience it seems to work ok…

Remembering the joy I had playing the PS2 version while staying at a friend’s house I snapped this up thinking that it would be exactly the same but with some cool motion sensor action to boot. How wrong can one person be? It must have at least 60% of the (24.99) PS2 version hacked out of it, no main events, crap season mode, and worst of all a god awful control system! most of the game play is basically automatic and just involves swinging the Wiimote in any direction with no real control over the wrestler, most of the wrestlers have the same moves apart from their finishers, it’s like going back to the days of Royal Rumble on the SNES! This game could have been great but THQ have seemed to go for the “casual gamer” multi play game effect. I’m not sure why as the Wii already has that market sewn up with the “family games”. If you’ve played the other versions you can’t help feeling like you’ve been ripped off, especially when the Wii version is about ten quid more than the PS2 version! I just hope that THQ realise what they hae done and release a new Day of Reckoning game to make up for it. I’ve since taken “Cackdown 2008″ back and exchanged it for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. If you’re a die hard wrestling fan and have played the previous versions of Smackdown then avoid this like the plague!

You would have thought now that the tomb raider formula would be beginning to tire especially seeing as the series, in numerous iterations, has failed to evolve and innovate to keep the franchise fresh. The core to all tomb raider games has always been its level design, and of course, Lara Croft; with the big busted lady’s amazing ability to swing and jump across deep crevasses and sidle along ledges as thin as her waistline, without breaking sweat at the hundred foot drop looming below. So why then is this game, which is a re-make of the first tomb raider, so fun to play whilst feeling fresh and like a completely new adventure?

This is largely due to the Wii remote which the game exploits to its absolute maximum not only helping its supreme and utterly absorbing playability but also the series as a whole. Lara has never been so good.
The game may feel slightly linear but the enormous environments which you’ll visit will allow for a lot of exploration and with secret items to collect, a reason to re-visit them a second, and even third time, just to get everything.
The aforementioned Wii controls are the true highlight however with a motion for almost every piece of lara’s equipment. Use a pick axe by moving the wii remote back and forth as if hitting a wall, to open new secrets and pathways; aim your torch to light your way when it’s too dark to see; take rubbings of ornate designs from the many walls and floors of the tombs you’ll explore; and aim your wii remote to take out those dinosaurs and gorillas which inhabit the temples and areas awaiting you.
To do these actions before would just require a button press, which was far less satisfying and intuitive as the superior wii controls this game exploits. And with the upgraded graphics helping to bring life to the environments and the amazing work done to animate Lara as she scrambles around rock faces and swings through the air with her grappling hook, this game sees off all competitiion from the original and even other games in the growing Tomb Raider franchise.
With the exception of quite a steep learning curve in regards to the controls and a few glitches here and there where the game needed a bit more polishing, this is definitely Lara at her best as she relives her first and probably best adventure in the Tomb Raider franchise.
A must-have title for any Tomb raider fans or newcomers to the series.
Customer Review: a decade of tomb raider games, and this ones is the best
I’ve been playing this game for a few days now and it’s a great addition to the series if anything the best! It has elements from all the titles that I’ve played and a huge leap from the first one I brought being that on the PlayStation. The use of the wii control is great and just adds to the authenticity of the game, I walk away from it feeling ass if I’ve not wasted my hours playing it and have felt fully involved. Sound affects are amazing in this game as are the movie sequences (short but sweet), gameplay is consistent and you won’t get bored.. The only downer is getting used to techniques using the wii control.. the instructions are very brief so you end up spending ages working out where you’ve gone wrong, I ended up moving my sensor dozens of times JUST to perfect the one move.. but once you’ve picked it up you’re away. Scenery changes so you won’t get bored in all a fantastic game of its genre and worth looking into.

So the first thing i thought before buying this product was WOW i can finally watch a movie on my beloved Wii. And not only that but i can carry a movie around with me on my 1gb SD card, bring it to a friends house, slot it into his/her Wii and we can watch a movie! Great! WRONG! All this application does is convert a movie/DVD into Motion JPEG format (which is basically a load of compressed still images). For instance i converted my Aliens VS Predator DVD to Wii format on my SD card and it produced 4 different files. I loaded the SD card into my Wii, went to the Photo channel (which is how you have to view the files), and selected the first file. The movie began to play and already the trouble started. I experienced a lot of stuttering and delay much like you would see in a movie played from a very scratched up DVD. It would be smooth for 3 seconds then stop/start, smooth for another 3 seconds then stop/start and on and on and on…. Not only that but because the Wii format of the video is in fact still images and can only be viewed in the photo channel of the Wii means that you have no rewind, fast forward, etc. functionality that everybody needs. Also, you have to select the 2nd file when you are done with the first, and then the third, fourth and so on depending on the size of the movie you are playing. Oh i have also forgot to mention that the video quality is very poor even though i chose the option in the application to convert the movie at the highest quality! So forget about buying this product - it obviously hasn’t been fully tested by X-OOM. Take my advice, save your hard earned money and wait for the official Nintendo DVD drive or firmware updates to the Wii so you can have a real movie experience!
