The Sims 2: Pets (Nintendo DS)

The Sims 2: Pets (Nintendo DS)
In a nutshell:
The PC and console worlds combine thanks to man’s best friend and a mouse’s greatest enemy. Create, pamper and train your favoured furry companions in the latest The Sims 2 expansion.
The lowdown:
After years of trying to create less complex, mini-game orientated spin-offs it seems EA are now keen to see the PC and console The Sims games converge. This new iteration is an expansion pack on the PC but a full price, stand alone game on the consoles. As the name subtly hints the main addition to the game this time round is a number of four-legged friends, plus fish and birds (although it’s really cats and dogs that get most of the attention). You can also create your own personalised pet via a complex customisation tool that’s just as versatile as the one for humans and on the PC version you can even send your four-legged friend to work!
Most exciting moment:
On the PC this is a perfectly welcome but very narrow expansion. However the full price console version is actually a considerable improvement on the original with an easier-to-use interface, better artificial intelligence and even reduced loading times.
Since you ask:
The next PC expansion pack is called In Season and seems to be roughly analogous to The Sims expansion On Holiday, in that it’ll focus on exterior objects and locations. It’s not yet clear whether there’ll be a console version.
The bottom line:
Finally, The Sims is made to work on consoles!-HARRISON DENT
Customer Review: hm…ok…
Good game at the start, but its just repeats and repeats and gets very boring at the start.
Does anybody know how to cure an animal with a broken leg because I tried putting bandages on it and it didn’t work.
So if anyone could tell me i would appreciate it,
Thanks xxxx
Customer Review: Monotenous
At first I was really exited to get the game, as I love all the Sims 2 PC games.
The game was fun at the start, but after a few days it became really boring. You have to do the same things over and over again, and there is really nothing to do most of the time, just sitting down and waiting.
The game soon became really boring and I regret ever buying it. It was definately a bad purchase, and nothing like as good as the Sims 2 PC games.
Big dissapointment.

Sonic Rush Adventure (Nintendo DS) Customer Review: Sonic Rush Adventure
I have always been a sonic fan, this is exciting with a twist that you can sail boats, submarines etc to different islands.
The graphics are fantastic and if you are going to buy a sonic game this is the one to get.
Customer Review: Best Sonic game since original Sonic Rush
This time round, there are new characters and a slightly new playing style.
This time round, Sonic must travel to 7 different islands via sea. The method to get to them is similar to in Starfox Command at first where you trace your route and then the touch screen is used to guide him left and right and also to boost once you are on your way.
The game play in this outing is just as fast and enjoyable as the previous game. But the new additions make this a thoroughly enjoyable game. The sea based action not only enables you to get to the new levels, but also to get you more points and rings.
There is a much better playback value in this outing as well, with one of the characters giving you special extras when you complete missions once again. These can come in the form of a dinosaur on the island. . . .hmm
But the 3-D play in between missions (like the boss battles) is very well done, making it RPG-esque and making it more fun than just a lot of menus.
Overall, the shere magnitude of the game is great. The sound is spot on for a Sonic game but most of all, the visuals. The cut-scenes use all the DS has to offer and look stunning.
Yes, I haven’t mentioned the Wi-Fi play. This is because I am waiting for someone to be online at the same time. But I would imagine it to be like the normal wireless play but this makes it much better.
A definate 10/10 for this game. It makes me want the new Olympic games and Sonic RPG even more now!

Customer Review: It’s Okay,
This game is Okay but I’ve seen better. It’s the same levels all over again. It takes such a long time to play and has very little to do with film. It’ll keep you entertained but only for a while. Chloe Age 10
